Welcome to Sunbeam Chapel It may seem from the photograph of our church that we are a small and rather insignificant church in Appalachia. Nothing could be further from the truth! Great things are happening here at Sunbeam Chapel, located in the heart of Logan County, West Virginia, as the Heavenly Father continues to work through our congregation and enlarge our vision. Sunbeam Chapel is a non-denominational, fundamental, soul-winning church with a love and passion for people. Our first priority is to glorify the Lord in all we do and to minister to the lost, lonely, and hurting from our area. Our small fellowship of believers is made up of good people from all walks of life, in all age categories, who are brought together by a common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and a love for His Word. If you live in the Logan, West Virginia area, or you are traveling through our scenic region, you are invited to worship with us. Come as you are, and relax in His sweet Spirit. We are usually informal in our attire. Join us today. We are situated in the center of the ever-growing Hatfield-McCoy ATV Trail System, about a half-mile from the Devil Anse Hatfield Campground. To visit our church, start at the Rt. 17 Stollings, WV underpass (near the Stollings Pizzahut), turn left at light (go under the train tressel), travel approximately three miles on Rt. 17. You will pass Badger Lumber, a couple of mine repair shops and another neighborhood church just before you get to Sunbeam (approximately 1/2 mile further). You will see the church pictured here on the left side of the road. We welcome all who will come. |
